I'm in Germany now. It has been an amazing experience. One which I'm incapable of giving justice to in this blog. You'll just have to come visit. The trip down was relatively smooth, at least after we dealt with the fact that my last and first names were swapped on the plane ticket. The night I arrived, I just planned today's trip and tried to deal with jet lag. Today, I visitted historic downtown. And I mean really historic. The absolutely beautifull cathedral in down town began in 1042! I'm going to Jacob's University tomorrow. Hopefully I can find a place on campus to stow my luggage so that I can cavort around Europe for the next week and a half. I felt like a jerk because everybody knew better English than I knew German. It's funny, a lot of the signs in Germany are in English, but I never heard anybody speaking English. I heard other non-English languages from other tourists, like Hindi and such, but I never heard English. Well I'm going to work on figuring out the bus route to Jacob's U. Talk to y'all later.
